If you have not discovered this honey pot, I urge you to take a few minutes to look it over. These webinars are free and presented by librarian experts. Imagine you need to research legislative history to determine the meaning of an ambiguous statute, these are the folks who can teach and help you take a deep dive into the committee notes, revisions, and everything you would need to determine the legislative intent for the statute.

Next on July 11, 2024, is a webinar on federal legislative history. I would not miss this one. The U.S. Supreme Court and judges in other federal courts are interpreting statutes setting a new precedent. It is more important than ever to understand the underlying legislative history of these statutes and the legislature’s intent.

On July 25, 2024, a special webinar will be presented for legal researchers who are interested in an introduction to the collections and services available at the Law Library of Congress. That may not sound very exciting. You would be mistaken. How can you pass up research guides, a Guide to Law Online, among other valuable tools?  Honey pot galore!
