That is great! Thank you. I will definitely look through all of them. I served on the board for the Charleston Association of Legal Assistants and my term ends in December. I am still waiting on someone to tell me who can and will take over the website as I have been doing it for over two years. I donât think anyone else knows how to work wordpress.
I am considering just creating my own website. I wanted the CALA site to become the âgo toâ for resources, tips, direct links, etc. I really enjoy working on it. If no one âtakes overâ it will be a shame and I still want there to be a consolidated resource available. During my term, I made it a point to reach out to local schools, encourage student involvement, etc. A Dean at the local college where I got my Bachelors in Political Science even reached out to me about creating a new course for a program thatâs being developed for those transferring from our local ABA approved Paralegal Studies Tech School in which there are better transfer equivalency options, etc. So, the way I chose to serve during my term was different and I donât think it went by un-noticed.
I will definitely add a link to your blog entry regarding the SC Blogs. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I hope to eventually get into more writing myself.
